Kindergarten Engineers
Students in Kindergarten learned all about Engineers and the important jobs they do. Then students were challenged to make an insulated hut to protect a miniature snowmen from melting. Working in teams, students planned, designed, built and tested their snowmen huts under a heated fan to see which hut could protect the snowmen the longest.
Holiday Science with Beginners
Today we discovered that Leprechauns visited Ranney and hid their gold inside magic Leprechaun Rocks. We had fun searching for them throughout the school. Then we carefully cleaned our rocks in a special solution to see if gold was hidden inside.
On Valentine's day, students learned all about the human heart and then made their very own "Love Potions".
