Ranney School

Welcome To My Science & Health Page

Hello, welcome to my Science & Health Page. My name is Katie Hunt and I have been a teacher at Ranney since 1999. I was very fortunate to spend the first 16 years of my teaching career with the first graders. In 2015 I had the opportunity to teach science and health to our youngest students and absolutely loved it. I am even more excited this year because I will be teaching health to ALL of the students in the Lower & Middle School.

I am extremely passionate about Health & Wellness and love to share my knowledge and passion with all of my students. Teaching children at an early age how to take care of their bodies, how to make healthy food choices, and appreciate the importance of daily exercise, will help them develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime. As studies have shown, students who are healthy are better able to learn and be successful.

Please visit often so you can get a peek into what your children are learning, exploring, observing, discovering, and creating every week in class.
